He was an engineer, expert in Natural Sciences, Theologian and a Catholic priest. Before Spain's civil war, he joined the Opus Dei, and eventually become one of its first three priests.

He played a key role in welcoming women and extending the presence of the Opus Dei in Europe. With his generous spirit and dedication, he faithfully followed the legacy of St. Josemaría Escrivá
