Juventus and Lazio will play in the final of the Italian Cup tomorrow in Rome. Before their big game, the soccer players, technicians and even the referees went to the Vatican to see Pope Francis.

As always, Pope Francis reminded the soccer players of their responsibility to the youth.

POPE FRANCIS
'Those who are considered champions easily become role models. Therefore, each game is a test of balance, self-control, and following the rules. This is what I expect from each one of you.'

Pope Francis also noted that at times, there are moments of violence in the sport.

They gave him a smaller replica of the Italian Cup.

The referees handed him this shirt.

Juventus, with the legendary Pavel NedvÄ?d at the head, handed him his shirt. Pope Francis then greeted the players attempting to win the Champions League, Italian league and Italian Cup led by Buffon, Marchisio and Chiellini.

Then he greeted the Lazio team, including Argentinian Lucas Biglia.

After the family photo, the two teams took a bus from the Vatican to prepare for tomorrow's game. Juventus has been the reigning champion the last two years, and Lazio last won in 2013.
