The Anti-Defamation League is an organization that fights anti-Semitism in the US and worldwide. ;During his speech, the Pope also proposed the example of the nun Marguerite d?Oingt. ; She was part of the Carthusian French community and later became the prioress for her convent. ;She became an avid writer and focused on teaching her readers how to meditate in a very straightforward manner. ;Benedict XVI“Marguerite?s writings, which include the earliest known examples of Provencal French, were inspired by the evangelical spirituality of St. Bruno; they reveal her fine sensibility and her deep desire for God.”The Pope also addressed the audience in Spanish stating his excitement for his upcoming trip to Spain. He will make a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela and later head to Barcelona to consecrate the Sagrada Familia. ;
