NGO Harambee announces winners of international film competition

Rosalinda Corbi International Coordinator of HarambeeVery often we talk about Africa in a negative way, the commercials on television during a catastrophe, there are negative things to point out and because of this we are trying to collect documentaries that give a professional image that is also positive, even though sometimes it is difficult to make a little change in the attitude towards Africa.”The first place award for audiovisual documentaries went to Yel Kabeye for his film “Women and Future in Ouagadougou.” ; The second place award was given to the video-clip “Insight into Ghana: Living the colors of Africa” and “Africa-beyond the Silence.” Harambee hopes these documentaries will shed light on many of the problems Africa faces that go largely unnoticed. ; AE RRGDP-BN
