Virtual Center helps bishops manage cases of sexual abuse committed by priests

This is just one of several proposals the Gregorian University will launch in response to this problem. In addition, the most effective measures will be discussed in a conference in the month of February. The title "Towards Healing and Renewal,” emphasizes the two main points stressed by Benedict XVI in the fight against sexual abuse.Roughly 200 bishops and religious superiors are expected to attend. The “Virtus” program is another measure developed in the U.S. to prevent these type of abuses. Experts from that program will also be participating in the conference. BR/KLH
