Focolare Youth meet in Italy to talk about economic crisis and social issues

During the meeting, there was a presentation of 'Genfest 2012', which is to be held in Budapest this August 31 to September 2. Some 12,000 young people are set to attend to present how each of them is working to change the lives of others. The event in Loppiano helped to launch the 'United World Project' which will be part of a Permanent Global Observatory Fraternity. Their aim is to help the economy, media, sports and politics in efforts to support a more united world in solidarity. These initiatives are inspired by the message of Chiara Lubich, the founder of the Focolare Movement in 1943. Her charisma is based on the promotion of unity and universal brotherhood. Her hope was to build inter-religious dialogue and to build a better society based on respect of others. PH/AE - Genfest.org - - PR
