Vatican to host 3rd International Catholic Film Festival in early July

Liana Marabini President, Catholic International Film Festival "The three short films are extraordinary and we have a film from Spain called 'A song' which is a surprising beautiful little film, full of values and I think it's a film that the press will like.� The Catholic Film Festival was created by the Polish film-maker and producer Liana Marabini. It operates under the patronage of the Pontifical Council for Culture which is presided over by Cardinal Ravassi. I think its very important this fact.� Rome will play host to many of the directors, actors, and producers of the 1,000 movies that were considered. During the festival, a panel of five judges will decide the winners from each category. Liana Marabini President, Catholic International Film Festival "They are looking for films that leave a trace in the people's souls.� Along with the festival, Catholic filmmakers plan to work with the New Evangelization by holding a congress every 6 weeks in a different city to promote their work.
