Benedict XVI: During holiday, spend time with those who are alone

Benedict XVI reflected on St. Bonaventure and asked everyone to examine their own life and to make it available to others.

BENEDICT XVI“The summer period allows us to rest. This can be a good time to reflect on our lives and have our hearts open to God and others.”

He also made an invitation to spend some of the holidays with those that felt alone or abandoned.

BENEDICT XVI“I invite you to be aware of all the people who suffer loneliness and neglect, whether on the street, in their apartment, in hospitals or nursing homes. Do not hesitate in visiting those people!”

The Pope recalled the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and asked that everyone remember her and all of her works.
