Pope will send delegation to Syria to show support amid instability

The delegation will head out to the country's capital. Most of them are Synod Fathers who are currently in Rome. They include Card. Laurent Mosengwo Pasinya, who serves as the Archbishop of Kinshasa. Also on that list in Card. Jean-Louis Tauran, president of the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue. ; New York's Archbishop Card. Timothy Dolan, as well as Bishop Fabio Suescun Mutis, who serves as the Military Ordinary of Colombia. Also attending is Bishop Joseph Nguyen Nang, of Phat Diem in Vietnam.
