Benedict XVI could change rules to move up start of conclave

According to Andrea Tornielli, from the Vatican Insider, the change could come at the request of several cardinals to begin the conclave sometime before the 15 day wait period currently required by law, after the start of the papal vacancy. ;

The change would become the last legislation Benedict XVI issues as Pope, but the Vatican has so far refused to confirm or deny the possibility. It is believed this type of legislation would have to specify how the cardinals can move up the date and how many votes would be required. ;
