'Pray in the Subway' phone app to pray anytime, anywhere

Spanish saint, Teresa of Avila, once said that "even when in the kitchen, our Lord is among the pots and pans.â? Now, centuries later, a new app is bringing that message back to life, but this time in the subway.

The app translates to 'Pray in the Subway.' The goal is to make it easy for people to pray anytime and anywhere. It started off as an audio podcast with homilies and meditations. A year later, it had been downloaded more than 200,000 times. So, with a growing crowd, designers decided to add even more elements with a modern touch.

The app is constantly updated. Users can see all its latest features through streaming or by simply downloading it. It can also be shared through social networks.

With a simple click, one has access to meditations on Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. Praying can also be private by just plugging in one's earphones on an iPhone or Android phone.  So whether it's at home, on one's way to work, school, or even out on the street, this free app makes it quite easy to take a moment to pray
