They talked to Pope Francis during the general audience and they also...

"I asked him, can I have  your autograph? And he said, 'I only write the letter 'F' With this simple question, this Italian group managed to get the Pope's autograph during his weekly general audience.  For more than 100 years now, this Italian association has helped the ill travel to Lourdes, Fatima, Loretto and the Holy Land. But this time around they decided to change things around a bit to visit St. Peter's Square.  They saw the Pope up close and they even had a quick conversation out in the square.  "He blessed the ill woman I was caring for, he shook my hand and he even blessed a picture of my daughter and her family. It was all very moving.â?  "Looking down at my wedding ring, I told him, 'We've been married for 23 years.' The Pope said, what a beautiful testimony.â?  Their first general audience was more than they expected. After listening to the Pope and his message, they say they can go back home with much more than what they bargained for.  "This gives us the strength to move forward in our life, despite the challenges. It helps us overcome the challenges with strength and courage.â?  So now that it's time to go back home, they feel re-energized and committed in their mission and their faith.  AFP/KLH  AA FA -PR Up:AC
