A Rome Reports documentary gets a nomination at the Catholic Oscars
There were more than 1,000 entries at the International Catholic Film Festival, which is also known as the Oscars of Catholic cinema. And the Rome Reports documentary "The Secret of Teresaâ? was nominated for Best Director.

The Paraguayan film "Blessed are Those Who Mourn,â? which was directed by Marcelo Torcida, took home the Best Picture and Best Director Awards.
The actor Juan del Santo, who starred in the film "Flow,â? won the "Silver Fishâ? for Best Actor.
A documentary about how a woman named Jessica Cox overcame her disability won Best Documentary.
The winning films will be shown in prisons and hospitals throughout the world. The festival will also promote them during meetings with producers and distributors in the film industry.
