Pope Francis met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania: Saulius Skvernelis.

They exchanged a few words as they sat down, but in the end, the translator was needed.

'He says he's very excited to be here.'

Later, the pope met his wife and children and even congratulated the prime minister on his family.

'Congratulations.'

The most entertaining moment at the meeting was when the prime minister's son started crying just because he wanted to be in his father's arms. The pope insisted that the little one accompany them during the exchange of gifts.

The pope received a traditional Lithuanian figure of a thinking Jesus, who represents a Jesus who suffers for His people.

The pope, however, gave the prime minister a statue of the olive branch, a symbol of the peace he wants for all countries in the world.

The smallest member of the family was the center of attention even in the final photo, and only this look managed to calm him.
