Pope Francis traveled to Suhrawardy Udyan Park to celebrate Mass and ordain 16 new priests in Bangladesh.

Along the way, a pole with a loose electrical cable threatened to cause an accident, but in the end, everyone was safe.

The pope advised the 16 new priests not to tire of meditating on the Bible.

POPE FRANCIS
'Read and meditate assiduously on the Word of the Lord, to believe what you have read, teach what you have received from the faith, live what you have taught.'

The pope thanked the thousands of pilgrims for their presence and entrusted them with a mission: to take care of the new priests.

POPE FRANCIS
'Some of you may ask me: 'But father... How do you do to take care of a priest?' Trust in your generosity. The people of God, that is, everyone, everyone, supports priests with prayer.'

The Catholic community in Bangladesh does not even consist of 400,000 people in a country of almost 159 million people, which is not even one percent of the total population.
