LIVE: Pope Francis bids farewell to Lima and returns to Rome

After a full week on an apostolic visit to Chile and Peru, Pope Francis concludes his trip at the Lima Airport.    

The pope is accompanied to the plane by the president of Peru and his wife. Following the farewell ceremony and the honor guard salute, the Holy Father returns to Rome.
