LIVE: Pope visits earthquake victims in central Italy


The pope travels to the diocese of Camerino-San Severino Marche. It was affected by an earthquake in October 2016. 

Pope Francis will visit families still living in temporary housing in the city of Cortine. 

He will also enter the cathedral in the town of Camerino. It is is still partially damaged. 

Afterward, the pope will meet with the mayors of the cities of the dioceses and at 10:30 a.m. celebrate Mass in the main square. Finally, he will have lunch with the local clergy and return by helicopter to Rome.
