LIVE: Second session of the pope's meeting on Veritatis Gaudium

The second session of reflection on “Veritatis Gaudium” begins. This Vatican law regulates ecclesiastical universities. It was promulgated by the pope in January 2018.

In the spirit of the document is the idea of improving collaboration between pontifical universities, beginning with those in Rome. 

The new norm explains how courses should be done on line. It also establishes the need to verify the quality of teaching offered in each university. 

Pope Francis participates in the second part of today's session. The meetings are taking place in Naples. It is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. local time and end at 1:00 p.m.
