LIVE: Vatican presents Pope Francis' apostolic exhortation, “Beloved Amazon”


The Vatican presents the post-synodal apostolic exhortation, “Beloved Amazon” at 1 p.m., Rome local time. 

The document is the conclusion of the synod work done from Oct. 6-27 with experts and bishops from the Amazon region. It focused on the Church's challenges in the area. 

The presentation will be given by six people including Card. Lorenzo Baldisseri, secretary general of the synod and Carlos Nobre, climatologist and Nobel Peace Prize winner in 2007.
