Pope Francis met with the Congregation of St. Joseph, founded by Leonardo Murialdo in Turin in 1873. The Pope expressed his admiration for the founder for having the courage to evangelize in a place dominated by Freemasonry.

POPE FRANCIS
He became a spokesman for the prophetic word of the Church in a world dominated by economic and power interests, giving voice to the most marginalized.

This congregation is dedicated to the care and formation of young workers. There are currently about 500 members and Pope Francis encouraged them to continue growing.
