Under Bernini’s colonnade, Pope Leo XIV inaugurated today the new San Martino Clinic, a space dedicated to providing free healthcare to those most in need.
The facility includes two rooms equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and a radiology service that will allow rapid diagnosis of conditions frequently found among the homeless.
The new center expands the work of the Mother of Mercy Clinic, further strengthening the Vatican’s ongoing commitment to people living in poverty.
