Pope Francis has called on participants of the Paris climate summit to be brave and make effective decisions that will help the planet.

POPE FRANCIS

'What world do we want to leave behind for those who come after us, for children who are growing? For the good of our common home, our generation and the future ones, every force in Paris must be directed toward weakening the impact of climate change and at the same time fighting poverty and cultivating human dignity.'

A few hours after the Jubilee, the Pope explained what conversion is for those who think they do no wrong.

POPE FRANCIS

'For example, when they cheat or offend us, do we react without animosity and forgive with our hearts those who ask us for forgiveness? How difficult it is to forgive! How difficult! 'You're going to pay.' This word comes to us from within.'

Later, he called on Christians to evangelize through their deeds. He said they can spread the faith to co-workers, fellow students and neighbors.

POPE FRANCIS 'If we look around, we see that there are people who would be disposed to begin or to restart down the path of faith if they found Christians enamored with Jesus. We should not or could not be those Christians?'

The Pope noted that in Peru three priests who had been killed by the Shining Path in 1991 were beatified. He asked people to pray for all persecuted Christians.
