Metropolitan Archbishop of Prešov, Jan Babják, tested positive for Covid-19 just a few days after he celebrated a liturgy with Pope Francis during the Pope's trip to Slovakia.

The Byzantine Divine Liturgy celebrated in the Mestská Sportova stadium in Prešov was attended by some 50,000 people. None of the celebrants wore face masks during the celebration.

The Archbishop and the Pope exchanged a sign of peace during the liturgy.

The 68-year-old Greek-Catholic archbishop is currently quarantined and will be tested again in two weeks. The Vatican has not commented on Pope Francis' health.
