Pope Francis met with members of the Latin American Business Council.<\/p>\n

In his address, he emphasized the danger of an excessive drive for profit, saying it distracts from the common good and can \u201cdegrade or enslave\u201d workers. <\/p>\n

The Latin American Business Council was established in 1990 and brings together private businessmen from 19 different countries.<\/p>\n
