The Church's mission territories seek help in many different ways\u2014one being through donations. On World Mission Sunday and throughout the year, the Pontifical Mission Societies work to collect money, which goes to territories like Sierra Leone.<\/p>\n

To them, prayer is another way of being a missionary\u2014and they even pray for those of different faiths.<\/p>\n SR. Every year in Spain, roughly 10,000 people spend their vacations volunteering in missions around the world. <\/p>\n SR. \nOne way to help the missionaries is to be there when they need us. That can mean financially helping those, for example, who need to be hospitalized. Whenever possible, we help in any way that we can.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nWe visit families when they lose a loved one.
\nEven if the family isn't Catholic, we still pray with them. Although we are not of the same religion, giving condolences and praying with them is a way of being witness to God.<\/em><\/p>\n

\nA missionary cannot run a mission alone. We are always going to need others, and one thing that has impressed me is the number of Spanish missionaries that I've met. I thank God that they have come to give their lives, service, prayer and financial aid to our mission.<\/em><\/p>\n
