She had a private audience with Pope Francis to present her credentials.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>During their meeting at the Apostolic Palace, the Ambassador and the Pope exchanged a tender moment when she told him about her children, nieces, nephews and Godchildren.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They also had a private audience where both agreed to strengthen the relationships and principles shared over the years.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the Pope received an image of Our Lady of Peace, patroness of El Salvador, made by Salvadoran artisans from Torogoz; and a painting of the Last Supper by Fernando Llort.
