According to Director Matteo Bruni, 'last night the Pope emeritus rested well. He also participated in a Mass yesterday afternoon that was celebrated in his room.' At the moment, 'his condition is stable.'<\/p>\n
During the Consistory this past August, Spanish Cardinal Fernando V\u00e9rgez explained that Pope emeritus Benedict XVI had difficulty moving and speaking. <\/p>\n
