The tree is a 100-foot-tall spruce from Palena, a town of about 1,200 residents in Italy's Abruzzo region.<\/p>\n<p>The Pope will not attend the event, but on Dec. 31, he usually goes to St. Peter's Square to admire it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December 03, 2022.
