This year, there were 1,300 in attendance.  <\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis arrived in a wheelchair, and greeted the head of the Vatican's Dicastery for the Service of Charity, Cardinal Konrad Krajewski.<\/p>\n<p>The Pope's presence drew much excitement among the crowd, and he didn't just stop for a quick greeting; he sat down to eat lunch with them. He even blessed the table.    <\/p>\n<p>Despite his knee problems, the Pope continues to maintain a heavy schedule of meetings and events.
