Lee, sees the exhibition as a way of combining the cultures of both the Catholic Church and Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATTHEW S.M. LEE<br \/>\n<\/strong>Ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) <br \/>\n<em>Depsite the differences between the Eastern and Western writing system and art forms, both the Vatican and Taiwan maintain the culture of \u201ctransmitting the faith through artistic writing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Using images typical of oriental culture like bamboo, mountains, and birds, the exhibition conveys messages of harmony, peace, love, and brotherhood.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MATTHEW S.M.
