With this greeting to the children, we remember the monstrosity of this war, and we renew our prayers that this savage cruelty of war be stopped.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Pope greeted each of them individually, and took the time to look at the drawings and signs made for him with the colors of the Ukrainian flag, including one that reads \u201cChildren for Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>JM<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>March 30, 2022.
