Thank you.\u201d<br \/>\n-\u201cThank you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Pope met with the President of the Polish Senate, Tomasz Grodzki, at the Vatican.<\/p>\n<p>After weeks of drawing attention to migrants on the Belarus-Poland border, the Pope asked the Polish representative for unity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>'This is an invitation. It says, \u201cFilling hands with other hands.\u201d It is unity, building unity among us. We need this, to all work toward unity.'<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The President of the Senate remembered the beatification of Cardinal Wyszy\u0144ski on Sept. 12. John Paul II described the blessed as a cornerstone of the entire Polish Church.<\/p>\n<p>Tomasz Grodzki also gave Pope Francis the works of two Polish composers: Paderewski, who was also Prime Minister, and Pernderecki, who died in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Pope Francis said goodbye with his usual request.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>'The Lord bless you.
