The tombs under the Vatican continue to impress visitors from around the world. <\/p>\n
It's a feeling shared by this group from DePaul Universtiy in Chicago studying in Rome.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cThere is really no better place to study church history than in Rome and really discover the roots of Catholocism. We start with the scavi and another highlight we visit Sixteen Chapel, and really everything between, very excited.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u00b4m learning so much about like Catholicsm. I really didn\u00b4t know much about it before coming on this trip, but its kind like a deeper understanding and deeper historical reference of everything.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
\n<\/strong>\u201cIt was super cool, I don't know, it's very unreal. It's kind of like: I didn't think I'd be able to, or anything like that, I don't know I feel like I see him on TV and read all of the encyclicals and stuff like that, you never think that you're gonna actually be able to, I don't know, kiss his hand or be able to say anything, or tell him, you know, your intentions and stuff like that so that was pretty cool.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
