They aren't from Italy nor Mexico. They're German. From Freising, north of Munich.<\/p>\n<p>They belong to an association of Catholic students founded in 1922. It's called Agilolfia Freising-Weihenstephan. They were able to see the Pope up close at the end of the Audience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JAKOB BERG<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>\u201cThe Catholic religion is one of the main points in our tradition and it was a very special moment for us to come here to Rome and to see our Pope, standing one meter away from us. It was a very special moment.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The other three pillars of this Catholic university association are science, country and friendship. The group has a special anniversary coming up in 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JAKOB BERG<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>\u201cIt was a heart-warming moment, very special for us, because next year we have our 100th anniversary, and to celebrate the first step in this anniversary we made a journey to Rome.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n<p>It's common to see groups wearing traditional outfits at the Pope's General Audiences.
