Hello.'<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This was the friendly greeting between the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, and Pope Francis at the Vatican.<\/p>\n<p>They met for nearly an hour.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Vatican, they talked about topics like migration, international conflicts and the need for multilateral solutions.<\/p>\n<p>As a gift, the President gave the Pope a facsimile of an illustration of Mary and the Tree of Life from the Furtmeyr Bible.<\/p>\n<p>The Pope gave the President a mosaic with the inscription, \u201cThrough Noah, God opens a path of salvation for Creation and for every person.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Before leaving, the President met with Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, and with Vatican Secretary for Relations with States, Abp.
