The Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, Card. Fernando Filoni, visited Prince Albert of Monaco at his residence.<\/p>\n
After a long conversation, Card. Filoni conferred on the Sovereign of the Principality the insignia of Knight of the Collar of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre, a rare distinction bestowed upon people who have gone above and beyond to support the Order's mission to sustain the Christian presence in the Holy Land.<\/p>\n
But the Prince wasn't the only one to be recognized. Prince Albert conferred on the Grand Master the insignia of Grand Officer of the Order of Grimaldi.<\/p>\n
\u201cThank you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n They exchanged a number of gifts. And Prince Albert presented Card. Filoni with a check for the Order.<\/p>\n \u201cThank you very much for your generosity. We will give this to the Holy Land.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Then the Prince and the Grand Master spent some moments praying in the palace chapel. Surrounded by the beauty of Monaco, they made their way to the gardens for a reception. Card. Filoni thanked the Prince for supporting the mission of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre.<\/p>\n CARD.
