Justin Welby shared the content of their conversation. He called the Pope a \u201cbrother\u201d and said they \u201cprayed about the urgent need for peace between people and our planet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The meeting began with this gesture.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-'<em>Excuse me<\/em>...'<br \/>\n-'<em>Oh, no, no, no<\/em>...'<\/p>\n<p>Their meeting was cordial, as shown with the gifts that were exchanged.<\/p>\n<p>The Pope gave the Archbishop of Canterbury a book about his prayer during the pandemic in an empty St. Peter's Square.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>-\u201c<em>It has been such a difficult period.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Archbishop offered the Pope 20 beekeeping courses for women in need.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Archbishop Welby supports a campaign called \u201cBees Abroad\u201d where women from places like Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda are taught a profession.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This was the seventh meeting between Pope Francis and Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby at the Vatican.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>JMB\/BGA<\/p>\n<p>TR: SS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>October 5, 2021.
