Experts who advise the Holy See on matters of bioethics and medicine will reflect on the challenge of providing an equitable distribution of medical care at the global level.<\/p>\n<p>Among those present will be Jules Hoffmann, the recipient of the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2011; David Barbe, the president of the World Medical Association; and Carissa Etienne, the director of the PanAmerican Health Association.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will meet with Pope Francis and bestow for the first time the \u201cGuardian of Life\u201d Award.
