Pope Francis sent this message to participants at the annual meeting of Argentina's Christian Association of Business Executives.<\/p>\n

One of the founders of this group of Argentine entrepreneurs is Enrique Shaw, whom Pope Francis declared venerable in April.<\/p>\n

\n'I have here the program for your meeting, and I cannot hide the joy I felt a short time ago in signing for the heroic virtue of Enrique Shaw'.<\/em><\/p>\n

The theme of the meeting was \u201cToward a more humane capitalism.\u201d So Pope Francis insisted on building an ethical economy, which he explained is the responsibility of every entrepreneur.<\/p>\n

\n'Investing in the common good, not hiding money in tax havens. Investing. Investment means giving life, creating, it is creative. Knowing how to invest, not to hide'.<\/em><\/p>\n

This association has two main objectives: to instill Christian values in business ventures and to serve the common good.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
