One of the most original initiatives Pope Francis has spearheaded is World day of the Poor. It is celebrated every November. But the Pope wants preparations to start well ahead of time.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s why the Vatican presented a special message Pope Francis prepared for this day.<\/p>\n
In it the Pope calls for a change in the way we view poverty. He says \u201cthe poor aren\u2019t external to the community. They are brothers and sisters with whom to share suffering, to alleviate their situation.\u201d<\/p>\n
