Pope Francis resumed his General Audiences. Due to the coronavirus, he is still giving his weekly catechesis from the Apostolic Palace. The pope reflected on how Jesus cures physical and spiritual suffering, as a doctor of the soul and body.<\/p>\n
Pope Francis also invited the faithful to hold on to faith, hope and charity during the pandemic.<\/p>\n
SUMMARY OF POPE'S CATECHESIS<\/strong><\/p>\n Dear Brothers and Sisters: <\/em><\/p>\n In responding to the grave challenges caused by the present pandemic, we Christians are guided by the wisdom and strength born of the virtues of faith, hope and love. As God\u2019s gifts, these virtues heal us and enable us in turn to bring Christ\u2019s healing presence to our world. They can inspire in us a new and creative spirit to help us face today\u2019s deeply rooted physical, social and spiritual infirmities and change the unjust and destructive behaviors that threaten the future of our human family.
