The first is refugees, in coherence with the UN's World Refugee Day.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The coronavirus crisis has highlighted the need to ensure the necessary protection for refugees too, in order to guarantee their dignity and safety.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Second of all, Pope Francis looked at how the crisis affected the environment and the globe at large.<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS<\/strong><br \/>\n<em>The lockdown has reduced pollution and revealed once more the beauty of so many places free from traffic and noise. Now, with the resumption of activities, we should all be more responsible for looking after the common home.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He also reflected on the Gospel message: \u201cDo not be afraid.\u201d The pope mentioned three situations in which Jesus warned the disciples they could face fear.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>POPE FRANCIS <\/strong><br \/>\n<em> They are like the three temptations: to sugar-coat the Gospel, to water it down; second, persecution; and third, the sensation that God has abandoned us.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The pope remembered that despite these moments, which can provoke fear, Jesus asks not to be afraid.
