With pilgrims systematically-spaced out in St. Peter's Square due to coronavirus measures, Pope Francis began the Angelus. <\/p>\n
He reflected on two areas the pandemic has brought attention to. The first is refugees, in coherence with the UN's World Refugee Day.<\/p>\n

\nThe coronavirus crisis has highlighted the need to ensure the necessary protection for refugees too, in order to guarantee their dignity and safety.<\/em><\/p>\n
\nThe lockdown has reduced pollution and revealed once more the beauty of so many places free from traffic and noise. Now, with the resumption of activities, we should all be more responsible for looking after the common home.<\/em><\/p>\n
\n They are like the three temptations: to sugar-coat the Gospel, to water it down; second, persecution; and third, the sensation that God has abandoned us.<\/em><\/p>\n
