He often spent long periods in Rome with him.<\/p>\n<p>Benedict XVI is 93 years old. This is the longest trip he has taken since he resigned as pope on Feb. 28, 2013.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>June 18, 2020.
