Italian bishops protest what they call an \u201carbitrary\u201d decision, which, they say, \u201ccompromises freedom of religion.\u201d They say the \u201ccommitment to serving the poor\u2014so important in this emergency\u2014stems from a faith that must be nourished by the sacramental life.\u201d<\/p>\n
