{"id":46707,"date":"2020-04-24T15:36:37","date_gmt":"2020-04-24T13:36:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www1.romereports.com\/2020\/04\/24\/free-access-to-online-classical-music-concerts\/"},"modified":"2020-04-24T15:36:00","modified_gmt":"2020-04-24T13:36:00","slug":"free-access-to-online-classical-music-concerts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.romereports.com\/en\/2020\/04\/24\/free-access-to-online-classical-music-concerts\/","title":{"rendered":"Free access to online classical music concerts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The music doesn't stop, and it's not just thanks to people singing from their windows and balconies.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Musical institutions like the National Academy of St. Cecilia in Rome, Siena's Accademia Musicale Chigiana and the Fenice Theatre in Venice will temporarily be streaming free concerts online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cImagining our Rome without music, for someone like me, and, I think, also for you, is impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>St. Cecilia's concerts can be accessed through the institution's website.<\/p>\n<p>The Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena is also streaming free concerts. The initiative, called \u201cChigiana stops COVID-19,\u201d adds different concerts every week on the academy's YouTube channel.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to concerts, musicians from the Fenice Theatre in Venice shared this video to show their support for doctors and nurses treating the sick.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI'm first oboe at the Fenice Theatre. My colleagues and I wanted to dedicate this music to Sandra Turbian, an anesthesiologist at the Vittorio Veneto hospital, and by extension all medical workers who are making a real effort for all of us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That's one of the beautiful things about music.
