Many things depend on decisions we make today.<\/p>\n<p>That's why the 163 members of the Pontifical Academy for Life have prepared an ambitious <a href=\"http:\/\/www.academyforlife.va\/content\/pav\/it\/notizie\/2020\/pandemia-e-fraternita-universale.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">document<\/a> with ideas for how to navigate in this new world.<\/p>\n<p>His proposal is called \u201cGlobal Pandemic and Universal Brotherhood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>MSGR. VINCENZO PAGLIA<\/strong><br \/>\nPontifical Academy for Life<br \/>\n<em>\u201cWe remain at home, not only for ourselves, but to protect others. There is a bond that unites us, like many families in a single, universal family. This is a great lesson we must learn and retain for the future after the virus.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Vincenzo Paglia oversees the Pontifical Academy for Life. He explains that the pandemic is revealing the devastating effects of individualism. He says the best antivirus is solidarity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MSGR. That's why we've already begun this new phase.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>He says medical staff, volunteers, doctors, priests and nuns who treat the sick are displaying the attitude needed to rebuild society.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MSGR.
