It also added a new prayer intention to the Good Friday service.<\/p>\n<p>The Congregation for Divine Worship made this decision after receiving many requests to celebrate a Mass specifically to implore God to end the current pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>It can be celebrated any day during a time of pandemic, except during the solemnities and feasts of Holy Week.<\/p>\n<p>The Vatican has also published the text of a prayer it had previously announced in a decree, to be included in the Good Friday celebration.
