Yet, that challenge is now gone because of the coronavirus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MARCOS<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>\u201cI didn't know it was going to be so easy. The media makes it seem more chaotic than it is.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>CARLOS<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>'It is very nice to come, visit and be calm.'<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Italy is one of the countries most-affected by the outbreak. The illness has impacted one of the country's biggest sources of income, tourism. Normally crowded shopping streets such as Via dei Condotti now face this reality.<\/p>\n<p><strong>JOS\u00c9 MANUEL<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>\u201cOur plane was more than half empty. Rome is spectacular for a tourist. I see it quite empty.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>MAR\u00cdA DOLORES<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>\u201cYou feel a little sorry. Last night, the restaurants were empty. Besides, I don't understand the freakout, people have masks but take them off to take pictures.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>These tourists say they prefer to enjoy their time to walk in the footprints of ancient history throughout the Eternal City.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAR\u00cdA DOLORES<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>\u201cRome is an impressive city. It is monumental and also an open-air museum. Every part of it is up for discovery and entertainment.
