The liturgy is set to start at 10 a.m. Rome time, on Monday, Jan. 6.<\/p>\n<p>The feast recalls the visit of the three magi to baby Jesus in Bethlehem. There they brought him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the pope said in his homily that the magi represent all people. He said \u201conly those who leave behind their worldly attachments and take on a journey find the mystery of God.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>After Mass, Pope Francis will pray the Angelus and greet pilgrims gathered in St. Peter's Square.<\/p>\n<p>Claudia Torres<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>January 4, 2020.
