In it are reflections on what the Bible says about some current controversial questions.<\/p>\n<p>For example, it shows that with regard to homosexuality, Scripture distinguishes sin from the sinner. It says the Bible doesn't talk about erotic tendencies toward a person of the same sex, but rather that it talks only about homosexual acts, which are judged negatively.<\/p>\n<p>It also recalls paradigmatic examples like that of Sodom, whose major sin was not sexual vice but a rejection of the stranger. The document says the sin of the people of Sodom was using sex as a means to abuse and subdue the other.<\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>December 19th, 2019.
